Great pair of lamps with eglomise bases depicting dancing goddesses. Brushed brass mounts and two edison sockets per lamp. *Van Leyden was a well known painter in Europe and the USA. During the 1940’s & 50’s Laszlo often commissioned her to create tables, lighting, even wall panels for many of his projects. Always using eglomise as her medium, and often signing her pieces, “Bottega Karin,” or a variation of this signiture. h. 26” Base: w. 11” d. 4”
