“Generation,” Sculptural Table by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne USA c. 1964
One of only two examples ever made of this table. An extraordinary sculptural creation, exploring several of the techniques the LaVernes were known to employ. Two cast bronze figures, connected at bottom and mid-point by abstract bronze base and table top. The cast elements were done with a lost wax method. Both flat planes have beautiful torched surfaces.
