Unique Illuminated Wall Light/ Sculpture by Barbini, Murano Italy c. 1972
Massive flower sculpture comprised of free-hand glass elements with caned stripes in shades of maroon & pink. Concealed steel structure for mounting and added LED strip lights for illumination. Origins: This sculpture was one of several mounted to the ceiling of the bar at the Lido Hotel on Lido island off Venice, Italy. Created custom c. 1972, and only recently dismantled. diam. 45" d. 5"

Tessere Ambra Vase by Barovier & Toso Italy 1957/ c. 1974
Beautiful, hand-blown glass vase of deep amethyst and amber colors formed to resemble woven material. Slender oval shape. Etched signature to underside that was typically used throughout the 1970's. Rare "Pasta Vitrea" Vase by Carlo Scarpa for MVM Cappellin Italy c. 1929
Rare, early vase created by one of the most celebrated designers of Murano glass. Opaque red "pasta" glass with low domed foot, flared opening at top and applied ring around the base of the neck. The density, texture & variation of color displayed in this vase is consistent with Scarpa's work from this period. This is an extraordinarily rare example of this type of work, and no other documented examples of this form have been found up to this point. Acid-stamped "CVM" with crown. Rare Pr. of Candlesticks, #2422 by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte Italy c. 1965
Pair of 5-light candlesticks with square, solid-glass rods and nickled-brass mounts. Rods joined near the bottom with a metal "X" stretcher. Each candlestick is topped off with a single bobeche. h. 16 w. 8" d. 5.75"
All glass is in excellent condition and there is some oxidation to metal.
