Rare & Early 6-Light Chandelier by Salviati Italy c. 1927
Beautiful 6 light chandelier with gilded cups, and gold interior flecks. Twisted and ribbed glass with black trim and black & gold glass detailing. A very fine example of Italian Art Deco realized in Murano glass. Each arm has one socket fitted to take a candelabra bulb. h. 40" diam. 26"
Excellent original condition. There are no chips or breaks to any of the glass. This fixture has been thoroughly cleaned with all new wiring and sockets.
Bookcase/storage cabinet of orange & black lacquered wood, with gold painted face in a snaking geometric motif & thick glass side panels. A rare example of American Art Deco that exemplifies Frankl's departure from his skyscraper furniture into a more simplified direction. h. 45.5" w. 50" d. 12"
