“Reclining Nude” Low Table by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne
USA, c. 1972
A unique variant of a very rare form. Cast mixed metals with an unusual black and gold-metal finish. Although this piece is not from a numbered edition, the LaVernes never produced more than 6 examples of any cast design. This is the first example to come on the market of a LaVerne cast piece that was not executed in bronze.
