Set of four small woman's heads, each attached to a brass disc and mounted onto an oak wood plaque. These pieces were originally imported by Frances Elkins and probably used as pull handles for small box lids. Provenance: Estate of Katherine Elkins Boyd, daughter of Frances Elkins. Elkins Boyd inherited the pieces from her mother’s estate. The Alberto Giacometti Archive has a similar example in bronze. Literature: P. Martin-Vivier. Jean Michel Frank.
