Rectangular tables with architectural bases and carved foliage fronts. Ivory colored lacquer with crackle finish. These tables were designed custom by James Dolena for a Bel Air residence and produced by Peterson Studios. These tables were recently touched up and cleaned.

Early & Rare Hanging Light by Pietro Chiesa Studio
Elegant fixture of nickeled metal with beautifully machined elements. Clear glass panels and opaque glass tubes. Each tube conceals one standard edison socket. Metal has recently been re-plated and all wiring and sockets have been replaced. *This fixture comes with a letter of attribution by the Gio Ponti Archives. Ponti and Chiesa were already working closely together when Ponti invited Chiesa to be the artistic director of Fontana Arte in 1933.

Carved sandstone. Interpreted from the Ballet Russes production of Gisèlle. Signed & dated by the artist on the lower rear. Small chip to front edge. Claude-Levy worked primarily for Primavera and was known for her figural ceramic sculptures. Very few large carved pieces such as this one were made by her. From a private collection in Paris, France. Literature: A. Hardy. Primavera 1912-1972. Atelier D'Art du Printemps for many examples of Claude-Levy's work.
