Produced by Egidio Proserpio. A beautiful two-door cabinet with parchment covered panels, one ribbed door panel, and sculptural bronze pull-handle. Side-wall panels with fin details, tapering legs and inset display unit with glass shelves. Interior has been left empty for custom storage possibilities. This cabinet has been authenticated by the Gio Ponti Archives and comes with a letter of expertise. h. 67.5" w. 43" d. 23.5"
Very good condition. Recently restored, but not refinished.
Rare Sideboard by Edward Wormley for Dunbar United States c. 1952
Overhanging slab walnut top. Mahogany case with three drawers, and three sliding doors that open to reveal more storage. Bentwood pulls and leather-wrapped feet. Door fronts with rattan faces and cloth lining. Signed with a green metal "Dunbar" tag. An extraordinary example of Wormley's creative range. h. 36" w. 80" d. 22"
Bleached wood cabinet with parquet panels and dark mahogany framing and base. Body set with elliptical bronze studs applied in groups of four. Center bronze medallion with relief decoration. Three doors open to reveal storage and one lit compartment. h. 67" w. 38.5" d. 18.5"
